My initial draw to BTB was really is in the details, both locations are small and stylish, with only a tiny bit of communal seating. All the prices are whole numbers (eg. $3, $4, $5).
The food is good. It almost says comfort food to me. Its not overly spicy, and it doesn’t contain any surprises on taste, but it does deliver what you expect, and does so very well. The rice has always been done quite well not over or undercooked, which is a big deal in my book. The portions are big, and I could never imagine going for anything bigger than their regular.
Great for a inexpensive lunch, and although I haven’t tried BTB in the after a night of drinking scenario I could see where it would be appealing.
