Apple Mac event Scheduled for 8/7 →
The press are being invited to an Apple “product presentation for Mac” at Apple Town Hall in Cupertino on the morning of Tuesday, August 7th.

Panchero’s plays in the ever growing field of high end fast food burrito joints, and I honestly think that it has achieved mediocrity in that field. On the plus side they have fresh pressed and cooked flower tortillas, but to counter that point they do not make their corn based sibling, and to me things like tacos should be on corn.

Leopard gets UNIX 03 certification →
OS X’s commercial credentials recently got a major boost from the Open Group. Thanks to the efforts of Apple’s OS boss Kevin Van Vechten and his team, Leopard has cleared all of the hurdles required to attain UNIX 03 certification. That places Apple in elite company. Only Sun, IBM and HP are certified, so OS X turns the Big Three into the Big Four.
